Gumption Crash

In this video you’re going to learn Gumption Crash. There are 5 parts to a Gumption Crash.

• Gumption
• Prep
• Contact
• Crash
• Release

Important information:

• The prep is symmetrical (see video)
• The right hand does the striking
• Make sure your cymbals flam (front to back) for the best sound quality

Bonus information:

• If you have bigger hands that cover a lot of surface area past the pad, remove your fingers just slightly off your cymbals to help the cymbals vibrate and resonate
