High Five Grip

In this video you’re going to learn about about High Five Grip.

Important definitions:

• High Five was created at Centerville High School so cymbal players could give high fives between reps on the reset
• This grip is essentially the opposite of Garfield Grip
• The knuckle side of your hand is facing the cymbal
• The strap still goes through your thumb and pointer finger
