PASIC 2015

This November marks another milestone for Seavine.  In partnership with our very cool friends, The Grid Book Series, we were able to attend PASIC 2015 as a vendor. With a killer booth in hand ready for drumming and cymbal playing, tons of product to sell, and countless eager cymbal players to meet, PASIC was a huge success for us and the marching cymbal community.  Thanks to the impressive following and mission that that The Grid Book Series has, the traffic was non stop all weekend. Throughout our time in San Antonio we were fortunate enough to meet some great cymbal players, educators, and even offer exclusive cymbal knowledge.

We had a true cymbal celebrity at the booth, Mrs. Stephanie Lynge, cymbal technician from the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps Cymbal Line. During her time at the booth, Stephanie was able to meet prospective Crossmen cymbal auditonees, give free lessons, and even pose for some pictures. “I was so excited to have the opportunity to work with Seavine at PASIC this year to demonstrate the usefulness of the cymbal gloves and spread the word about the heart behind them,” says Stephanie.  We can’t thank Stephanie and the Crossmen enough for sharing the cymbal love with us down in San Antonio.

In addition to our time at the booth, we were able to sneak away and catch a few of the many incredible performances and clinics that PASIC had to offer. A special shout out goes to the Lamar University Drumline.  These awesome performers came to the booth and outfitted themselves with new pairs of The Cymbal Gloves and Cymple Pad Covers for their competition.  How did it end you ask?  These fine folks placed first in the drumline standstill competition! "I am very impressed with the product, how the business is run, and how available Seavine is for the     directors and students to connect too,” says Travis Fife, director of percussion at the university.

Lastly, we had some fun camera time with our media partners Symphonic Pulse Percussion. In the lime light was Rico Gomez- Crossmen Assistant Director of Operations, Stephanie Lynge, and some well spoken cymbal players.  Speaking points included the positive direction of cymbal playing, insight about our products, and some tips about playing the instrument.  Keep checking the Symphonic Pulse website for the full interview release.
